The works are generally considered to be of a high standard and praise has been passed on to the tiling squad by the main contractor, the architect and several visitors to the site. The Changing Village tiling was a a large proportion of our works, with almost as much tiling as there is in the pool hall; a range of bright colours and formats were used to produce a very vibrant appearance to this area. Of course the focal point of the project is the Pool Hall and the 50M pool itself.  The vibrant colour theme is followed through into this area, with blocks of bold colour making a statement in the vast arena.  The main pool itself however is what the project is all about; the 50M, ten lane, pool has been built to incredible precision to achieve timekeeping accuracy that will allow County, National and hopefully International competition to be staged there.  Who knows, one day this pool could be the venue for a World Record swim. With an adjustable boom to alter the length of the main pool, an hydraulic floor to adjust the depth and lane markings across the 25M width aswell as the 50M length, the pool itself is very versatile and should become a valuable asset to the local community.  The hard work and no little measure of skill that has been put into this project by our skilled craftsmen, should serve the to make this swimming pool a benchmark for quality for all to see and enjoy.
