The company has been based at its current premises, a purpose-built factory in Prudhoe, Northumberland, since 1991. The site is ideally situated here on the A695, the main Newcastle-Carlisle route south of the Tyne and so has easy access to all major routes both North/South and East/West. Specifically designed to suit the needs of the company, the ultra-modern unit comprises over 1600m2 warehouse space and 500m2 of air-conditioned office facilities.
A third of the warehouse is dedicated to precision cutting, using specially imported machines that allow us an unrivalled ability to cut ceramics, terrazzo, granite, limestone and other natural stone to suit the detailing needs of our clients. A further section of the warehouse is set up as an in-house training area, in accordance with our Investors in People training programme.
The offices are equipped with a fully integrated network computer system using the most up-to-date software packages specifically designed and tailored to manage all aspects of our business. Broadband internet, coupled with CD/DVD readers and full A0 size printing facilities ensure that we keep pace with the cutting edge of procurement methods and data communication. |
We also have a large open area at mezanine level to facilitate the laying out and cutting of sheets and rolls of soft flooring.
