More Accolades for Plunketts

P Plunkett Tiling Contractors Ltd are in line for further honours, having been shortlisted in the Constructing Excellence North East Awards 2011 in the "SME" category.  This category is open to small construction companies who have made strides in improving their company through implementing best practice. Judges will be looking for examples of where improvements have been made across the board in terms of both people and processes. In particular judges will be looking for evidence of people development; adopting best practice, and collaborative and new ways of working.  Given Plunkett's declared ethos of self improvement and record in training and developing it's staff in a culture of quality and innovation, they must be strong contenders this year.

As well as the company's nomination, there are also twelve projects that Plunketts were involved in shortlisted for awards; indeed five of the twelve projects shortlisted for "Project of the Year" have benefited from the workmanship of Plunkett's craftsmen.

The company is hoping that, when the winners are anounced on May 13th, there will be another trophy to add to the accolades collected earlier this month at the Tile Association Awards, in recognition of the quality of workmanship and service provided by P Plunkett Tiling Contractors Ltd.
