Liverpool James Street Station
LiverpoolOur reputation for being able to cope with the more technically awkward projects helped us secure work from Morgan Sindall at Liverpool’s James Street Station. Not confident with the contractors employed to do the simple platform tiling, they engaged us to carry out the works to re-tile an existing escape staircase. The existing finishes were stripped by Morgan Sindall to reveal a structure that was twisted, had uneven riser heights and a problem with rainwater drainage flowing down the walls and over the treads. Paul Baptist Snr and his squad had a challenge on to square it all up, and form a rainwater channel to one side, compounded by the requirement to work under electric lighting on nightshift, but still provided the client with a quality finish and the confidence to put us forward for further works on site
