Works are currently ongoing at the iconic India Buildings development in Liverpool’s City Centre.

Working in over one hundred rooms split over eleven floors, our scope of works is varied, with us being engaged in both the brand-new office space, as well as specialist, heritage and restoration work to the original 1920’s interior of the building.

The building itself has a storied history, firstly, and most notably as a base for the Blue Funnel Line, a highly prominent shipping company throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  Alongside this the building also acted as office space for Lloyds Bank and the Post Office, as well as housing a popular shopping arcade which ran through the ground floor of the property.  More recently the building has been granted Grade 2 listed status with the structures Trans-Atlantic influences highlighted as the main reason for this recognition.

Given the buildings long standing position in the heart of Liverpool city centre, we are looking forward to our continued work restoring this landmark to its former glories.
