Project complete! – round two at the Dolphin Centre project was a full refurbishment of the Toddler Pool, Pool Surround and Shower Area, undertaken over a number of phases to allow the centre to continue operating.
Throughout our time on this project, we installed new linear drains and outlets, supplied by Paragon Steel, then worked closely with our specialist screeding contractor, Apex Tailored Flooring, to install the screed to the Pool Surround and Pool base. We had to ensure that the new screed went back in at the same level as the old pool. We carried out the render and waterproofing works to the pool and formed the pool edge which would house the new gratings, before finally taking on the tiling of course. All tiles were supplied by Verona and Spectile. All waterproofing systems, screed, render, tile adhesives and grout were supplied by Mapei. Another challenging project, working within an operating building which was originally constructed over 40 years ago, however our team have left a top quality finish as always; well done to our highly skilled and experienced site team.
