Some 8 years since our works on the neighboring Furness Building, our tilers have recently completed work to Lancaster University’s state of the art ‘Innovation Hub’.
Working closely with our colleagues at Solus Ceramics, much of our work at Lancaster saw us use a brand-new dry fix system. A first for us, this innovative new system is made up of a metal backed tile positioned onto a plastic frame and then clicked into position with rubber jointing strips- thereby avoiding the need for traditional adhesives and grouts. We anticipate that work of this nature will become increasingly popular and welcome any future opportunities to hone and enhance our skills working with this innovative technology.
